Place your vote by replying with a list of all maps you think should be official. You get 1 vote in this thread, but you can vote for as many maps as you want. Do not post more than one reply in this thread. If you wish to change your votes, edit your original post. If you wish to debate about the selection of certain maps, do so here (http://dplogin.com/forums/index.php?topic=25976.new#new). If somebody has posted more than once or has posted something other than a maplist vote, use the "Report to moderator" link.
Focus on maps that have good gameplay. Most maps will likely have a pass done on them to improve the visuals (or perhaps be completely reconstructed). Beta maps are OK to vote for. They will simply need to be completed before inclusion on the final list.
After a while (maybe 1 month), we will tally up the votes, pick the top map, and spend the next month or so getting the map fixed and polished. Then tally the votes again, pick the next top map, and so on.

Twiling_b3; Very cool map. Looks awesome and has awesome gameplay.
Rome; Not the best looking map but takes strategy to play.
pbcup_pforest; Either the best, or the second best DT map.
Shock; Every newbie loves this map, redesign it and chuck it back into the game.
Shazamr; My personal favourite of the series. (Not 33).
Zpar11_beta; Looks and plays amazing. Maybe a bit too hard for newbies.
Airtime; Popular map, not hard for newbies and is a lot of fun. Redesign.
Castle1; Very strategic.
Destiny; Pretty cool map, a little jumping is beneficial, not needed though.
hmpf; Love this map. Great idea, maybe just fix a few flaws.
Macabre; Fix the leaks. Fun map.
nml; Good map.
Mystique; Maybe? I'm not sure.
pbcup_pbsanc; FUN MAP.
Sassault4; A nice cuso map.
prolandr; obviously.
pp1/pp2; I think I like pp2 more, but pp1 is still good.
Slippery; Pretty cool map. Thanks Termi.
tlc; Fun, strategic map.
ub_columbia; Hard map for newbs, fun map for Pro's.

I haven't really played in a while so I don't know most of the newer maps. But here are the maps I think should at least be considered.
Airtime2 or 3: I think the first airtime is just too plain/boring, very defence/team oriented map though.
Twiling_b3: I've always liked this map, I think it looks great and like Rick said it plays pretty well too.
Prolandr: Great map, high skill cap
Pbcup_sassault: Probably one of the best maps for matching ever.
Pbcup_pbsanctuary: Very defensive map, looks great, plays well.
Carpathian: Awesome DT map.
Pbcup_Pforest: Another awesome DT map.
Maybe shazam22 if it was bigger.
That is all I can think of at the moment. I don't remember many maps anymore, I will come back and add to this list later.

Airtime: Classic, well known, teaches newbies to use ramps, still used in matches.
Shazam*: Another classic design, some kind of slight enlargement of shaz22 without losing the nice 'cosy' lighting or adding the random extra s33 camping rooms would be nice.
Perf/sassault*: One of these would be good to modernise, probably based on pbcup_sassault.
Castle1 because castle1. Might be able to light it a little nicer along the way.
Those would be my top nominations.

There are many great maps out there, but here I will list a few that are often overlooked despite their greatness.
-nhb: great map, lots of paths and strategic gameplay. Also looks very nice.
-freedom: great gameplay but needs more balancing
-pbcup_2fort5: gameplay and looks
-ub_rooftop: great gameplay and aesthetics that fit the theme nicely
-italy: The only great map that has uneven bases. There is no clear team with an advantage.
And here are some maps that I think are overrated and should not become official:
-razzle: BORING
-daylight: too much ice; although it's fun, gameplay is not good.
Note: Do not count this as my votes; I have a separate post in this thread for my votes.

@RobinandL!nk It's good map for newbies, they like maps like remenission, shock, shazam33 or grave. That's why i think it should be on the list.

But I also think that more match maps and public maps need to have more different types of game modes.. more siege maps, more deathmatch maps.. etc. If we had a good enough quantity and quality of deathmatch maps then speed servers will be irrelevant
@MrPeach Reminission has the tallest walls in any map I've ever seen. It's the ugliest map on paintball. I'm sure we can find more newbie friendly maps then reminissions..

Carpathian, Midnight. Pbcup, Pbcup_pforest, pbcup_renoir, Shazam22 or Shazamr, Sandtrap, Wobluda OR airtime. (I hate both, but newbs have hardons for them) sroads_b3 and Propaint1.

Now time to get a little biased: Mystique, TLC, NML and Rallyr_b1.
I've seen other people vote on them, obviously anyone would nominate some of their own maps and want them on the "official" list..

I will second pretty much what Clipz voted for, I think he has a good feel of what belongs. I would vote for Green Park and Nonturno also.

-Carpathian - Very Good map
-Destiny - Good looking map, very underplayed
-Zephrus - If it's gets finished it would make for a great map
-CCC - If the lag at the exits of the base is fixed this would be great for newbies
These are the only maps I would actually be happy seeing; Also maps that newbies will actually see as high quality. But CCC lag will have to be fixed.

zen_b1: fix the reflective water planes issue
Overhang: wait till final
Corruo: wait till final
spcup_framework_b1: wait till final
Frigid2 by Rick: wait till final if he comes back to it
Airtime3: Fix lighting in some upper regions
Underwater_b2: wait till final
ccc: find a way to reduce lag

Shock is one of those maps where you either love it or hate it. I personally hate it but I can see why some people would like it.
