Hello,
Help me prevent spawn camping by posting what maps have spawn camping problems.
I will create .ent files to edit the spawn points to help fix the problem.

To download the .ent files right click and select "Save Link As...". Save the file in your paintball2/pball/maps/ent directory. For beta maps save the file in your paintball2/pball/maps/ent/beta directory. You only really need to download the files if you are running a server or playing alone.

I don't think spawn killing is a major problem on any of the airtime maps. I suppose I could make everyone spawn with a gun though.
I don't think I can do anything to shock without drastically changing the gameplay. The spawns are really in the only place they can be already.

There is one spot in the alley to the right of the base where one could camp and cover every point. Either you spawn right in their line of fire or you must pass through that section in order to go anywhere.

wobluda_fix is sort of a tricky one. I think it still gets played a lot in matches so I don't want to change the location of the spawns too much. I think I can make something work well though without giving any spawn point too much of a head start.

Took a look at london and the spawns are already spaced out well. I think the problem you are talking about is more of a map design flaw. Only way to really fix it is to place spawns outside the base, which would ruin the map in my opinion.

Just make the spawns in wobluda spawn not in a LINE so newbs can't sit right against the wall and spawnkill.

I can stagger the spawn points on ub_cliff and wobluda_fix so it isn't as easy for spawn killers.
Can't really do much to shazam33. Spawns are already spaced out well. I could possibly add a couple more spawn points in the base so that you don't spawn in the back corner as often. That is where most of the spawn killing happens.
Not sure what I'd do to ub_abbey. It has a dedicated spawn room so I don't want to start adding spawns outside that room. More of a map design flaw I think. Just like propaint1. The only way to fix spawn camping on these maps is some actual spawn protection.
Edit: Finished the .ent for wobluda_fix. Spawn points have been staggered a bit and I added an additional one just inside the tunnel to flag two.
Edit 2: Finished beta/banliue13_b1. Blue team has equal quality guns to yellow now.
Edit 3: Finished shazam33, the original spawn points in shazam33 were already well done. I only added a single one on the little ledge inside the base.
Edit 4: Finished airtime3. All spawns now have carbines & removed all carbines from the ground.
Edit 5: Finished beta/pgptrain_b4. Added a few additional spawns in each base and made the red spawn points face forwards instead of backwards.
Edit 6: Finished ub_cliff. Added four spawn points on the same level as the flag in each base.

Not going to put that one on my list though since the only way to avoid spawn killing on blitz is to not play it.

Yeah not sure what is going on there, doesn't seem like a spawn point problem.
I completed the .ent for dhemap. Spawns are all over the base now instead of in a straight line.

All spawn points are fine on eclissi, idk why it's bugging out.

Added to the list.
Also finished the .ent for theice. Put spawn points around each corner, and a couple on the sides of the flags.
Edit: Finished xbmap1. Spawns are spaced out around the base now.
Edit2: There was a problem with the duck_fix.ent. It is now fixed. Files in the first post have been updated.

On shazam33, I'm kind of sick of spawning on the tiny ledge on the wall. (See picture)
It's weird for new players because they might think the game is glitchy and other players think they're floating in air.

I couldn't think of any where else to put a spawn point =p. I can change it if it is really a problem.

Haha, although it is a troll place for the newbs, it does encourage hard, sitting camping there. It is pretty annoying to get killed by a newbie who sits on that ledge ten times.

I guess so, I sorta thought it would open up the map a bit more. On a speed server there will almost always be people in the base, with a spawn point up there it sorta makes the base feel bigger, one more spot for your enemies to be.
I remember reading something about level design, one of the hardest things to get a player to do is look up. Once you play the map a bunch of times you will expect to see people up there.
I think I will leave it as-is for now. I will think about removing it again if I get any more complaints.
Also the .ent for wipa is finished. I added five more spawns in each base.

That's another thing that makes neon confusing. If you're in lower base, the thing that shoots you up to main flag doesn't look like anything special at first.

One on the pillar isn't a bad idea. I didn't want to put any in the bd because they would get out to mid sooner than everyone else.
Edit: First post has been updated with a few more maps for me to do. I will get them done soon.
Edit2: Napalm .ent has been uploaded. Fixed angles and added four spawn points per base.
Edit3: Frostbit2 .ent PGP edition has been completed. Changed to pgp-mode, fixed angles and aded five additional spawn points per base.
Edit4: Cream .ent has been uploaded. I added a loaded 20OZ CO2 to each spawn.
Edit 5: Nolandr .ent is done. Added equipment to each spawn and added a few additional spawns per base.
