Why is this a thing right now? Please be a bug.
Even though this game is about getting to 50 pts, and grabs/caps being more "crucial" in capture the flag - I've never seen a game sort by grabs. It looks SOOO ugly. Sorting by kills is what every game does, and it makes the scoreboard look more sorted. It just looks like a jumbled mess with grabs.
Secondly, if you're going to sort by something other than kills (if this is indeed intentional) -- Grabs don't mean ANYTHING. Kills mean more than grabs. Grabs can often lead to losing your teams more points than gaining, or just dying as you grab. Sort by caps then, the only measure other than kills of a form of success. Often times its more efficient to NOT grab than to grab, if you're trying to win - making grabs a poor measure.

score = (score * 10000) + cl_scores[i].caps * 8 + cl_scores[i].grabs * 4 + cl_scores[i].kills;
So yeah, 1 grab counts as much as 4 kills. Jitspoe thinks it's better this way.

Literally the dumbest change I've seen.
There's 100 things to change, WHY change this? Any new player coming will be confused. If you want to add something like this, allow us to filter what it sorts by. But it should ALWAYS default kills like EVERY SINGLE GAME. I don't understand what in the hell the reason to change this was.... Everything looks random and messy now. Disgusting.
@Jitspoe: It's capture the flag, sure - but grabs can LOSE you the game just as much as win. And often times it's WORSE to grab. Grabbing a flag is not a measure of skill, and this change just makes the scoreboard look random and ugly. PLEASE change it back.
EDIT: The game is ONLY alive because of current players - not new players coming in. The servers are often dead. Why waste any time on negligible things that have never once been complained about in the history of the game, when time is something you lack?

You can change it to the old version with the command "cl_scoreboard_sorting 1".

For the record: @T3RR0R15T: Your changes (including the cvar) are not in b41, the version used for compiling was scores.c v1.21, your changes are in v1.23

I agree scoreboard looked more nice in previous builds, 41 is ugly

@Ranger multiple matches you played couple days ago, you had negative KD, it is not affecting you, nor would make you position better in both old one and new one.

K/d is not what tortures me since I overgrew this game I talk about scoreboard looking more "organised".

Since you "overgrow" the game as u say, you should be smart enough to organize scoreboard in your head instead.

BUMP - STILL WAITING ON THIS SIMPLE FIX TO HAPPEN. REVERT THE darn SCOREBOARD.
It makes the sorting just seem dumb and random. Or make it so we can sort it ourselves by clicking the column.
Nobody likes this change. Nobody asked for it. Scoreboard just looks random and dumb. Look at other games - it's always sorted by kills even if the game mode values other methods to win the round. So I don't know why a post from 2016 still has not been fixed in 2018.
