Title: .wal - editor
Post by: Santa on July 26, 2017, 05:04:44 PM
Hey guys,

is there any .wal editor that is still available?
I'm searching for a long time but all the links are expired...

So i avoided the problem and copied other .wal textures and renamed them as i needed them. But that sucks really hard because i need test the map in order to see if i aligned the texture correctly.

I attached the map and the textures so you can see what i've done.

Thank you

Wally is a good one. I don't have any links for you though.

2. Newest Version of Wally (Texture Editor) <- Easiest way is to install directly on your “C drive” (ftp://otb-server.de/pub/BSP%20-%20Map%20Editor/wally_155b.exe)
3. Paintball Palette for Wally  <- Put the palette in your ...\wally\Palettes directory (ftp://otb-server.de/pub/BSP%20-%20Map%20Editor/pb2e.pal)

Chef posted the wally link, which is useful but i use a slightly different method.

I'm not sure if NULL from the leray.proboards.com forum has released this publicly, but it is an insanely good tool for converting all sorts of pb/q2 related files.

It can convert images to/from .wal and scale/brightness/contrast/batch them. I just edit in photoshop and convert to .wal after.
