This information seems hard to find, so I figured I'd make a sticky to keep it all in one place. If anybody has details on how to reserve other servers, let me know and I'll edit this post.

I'll respond with another quote:
I should have done this a long time ago, but I finally added a "match" command. It was bugging me while I was in bed last night, so I got up and coded it instead of sleeping. :)
How it works:
The clan leader connects to the match server and types at the console:
match <password> <login>
The server then sets the password (for connecting) and level 50 login to what was specified, for example, if someone typed "match foo bar" the password would be "foo" and the level 50 login would be "bar." Currently it overrides the oppass1/oppass1level cvars. It will also automatically log the person in.
The server must be empty and allow_match must be set to 1 in order to use the command. This will allow server admins to run public/match servers, and if there are people playing on the server, somebody can't just take it over.
When the match command is executed, the server will set the default (strict) match settings (like typing the "matchmode" command). There's also a "match_timeout" setting (defaults to 1 minute if unset) that, like "passwordtimeout", resets the password (as well as match settings -- executes the "publicmode" command) after a given period of time (in minutes) if nobody else connects.
It needs some polish, but it's ready for testing on the EV1 Match server.

If I reserve a server, can I have the name temporarily changed? Or can you not do that ?

no soldier you can't. that would be called renting a server and you have to pay for it.

Derrek did the original coding for the GRaFFiTi Match Server Tool. Snipen and I have modified it to show the new servers and work properly.
I've also got it where if you have the game installed on your machine, you can just click a pub server link and your game will automatically load and connect you directly to that server from this page of our website:

Jits, the pball directory has to be stored somewhere in the registry for this to work, right? For some reason it is pointing to the wrong version on my machine. Where would that key be in the registry?

Yeah, there is no one in their channel anymore. They have five servers still, three of which are match servers. I was wondering because they're in California and there are no other good west coast servers right now.

I have currently set up a temporary !Match script in #Team_iJ, until i can create a full script. There is only one server currently, but I am hoping to attain at least one more.
The server is hosted in Dalas Tx. With (unfortunately) a maxcleints of 8. (Not changeable)

Alot of ppl are using er33ts now because they are banned from gts . Because of Snipen raging in pubs and banning users,pathetic tho but he controls them.

Added to the list. I noticed there was a true/false setting for tdm_elim. That's actually a time setting, so you should be able to type in a number (default is 2 seconds, I think)

No, thats a service from the clans (or server hosters). You can rent the servers for some hours for free.

I think cP servers have gone down now all the links are dead; they don't appear in the server list anymore and their TS3 server is down etc. Also jitspoe maybe you could add the location to the first post to show people which one to rent.
