Can I ask something? (And sorry about my english) I do not play this game often (So, you can search my post as noobish, I don't care), I'm not member of any clan, I just play it, when I'm bored. Noone else plays on my computer or with my login. I didn't use any cheats, I didn't download anything. I certainly didn't change any settings. BUT I was global-banned today. And I'm asking: WHY? Well, modified player skin tells me exactly nothing. What was wrong with me? Certainly, I didn't feel any advantages or even saw them. I was banned when I was logged out, nobody told me about something is wrong with me, I was just banned. SO...the important thing: Could something download to my game files (only idea wich I have, is something like when you automaticly download new map files) without me knowing it? Cause I don't feel guilty. THX for response.

You had to have modified the player skins yourself or replaced them with modified ones. And no you would not automatically download player skins from servers.

No, certainly not. As I red here, I would have to erase default skins to download some modified skins automaticly. And I did NOT. I didn't download them myself too. And my blue players were blue still. They weren't pink, they weren't brighter, they weren't black, they weren't whatever. You probably won't believe me, but I do not care, cause I think, that only in bad game you can recieve ban without doing anything wrong. As I red this forum, it reminds me the case of Neo. Instead of searching what's wrong with ban system, when somebody recieves unfair ban, you keep banning and bannig and bannig....It puts me off playing game wich I quite liked.

I am sorry, that I am wasting your time, but I was really banned wrongfully. My mother is doing a photo pc course and she had to work with some pictures. Unfortunately she found only the game data and she has changed the colour of the player eyes from blue to green. It is stupid. I has never cheated and I won´t never cheat. Please take me back to the game.

Evidently they did something or else they wouldn't have been intercoursein banned. And for everyone who says they download the skins or whatever other texture is modified from the server YOU ARE WRONG. The servers are not corrupt it is you that is corrupt. >:(
EDIT: Just had to vent there for a second because I am tired of hearing it. :)

That's... wow... certainly the most creative excuse I've seen so far. Did you not get a warning about modified content when you started the game up? About how you'd be banned if you played online with it? If it really was your mother's doing, perhaps she'd be willing to shell out the fee to buy off your ban: $0.50/day, USD.

Yes, I got a warning, but I diddn´t know what does it mean, because I have never do something with the skins. I thought it was an error of the server. Now I know it and I will look after the data really carefully. Please take me back to the game.

I would like to know exactly what this Warning says. Becuase if it says that you will be banned if you played then you deserve to be banned. Plus you admit to getting the warning and ignoring it so deal with it and we will see you in 32 days.

Im thinkin hes gonna say no... Theres been a large number of banning going on lately for modded content... The odds of him believing that your mom changed the eye color of blue players are low. Odds are we wont see you for another 32 days.

Right, every hacker that gets caught will try to get there ban removed and jitspoe would have to lift them, too, in order to be fair to all players/first attempters/hacker ect..
Doesn't sound like a cool thing to do, does it?

Well mr. Jitspoe already answered. Just wait for 30 days, your ban will not be lifted for sure so there´s no point arguing.
Edit: or you might pay it off - 15$ and you´re clear.

It's a big enought of money for him. If he should buy 30 days, he must pay 15 dollars, mustn't he? OK. So it is 375,- CZK (Czech crowns). For this amount we can buy new game or 187,5 rolls (one costs 2 CZK) or 20 loafs of bread. I dont think any mother in our country will pay it, and there is although a problem with sending the money to you. Nevertheless you show us that, if we are unfairly banned we can buy our ban back. It's good I think. I think it frankly.
And to the modified player skins:
I got an idea, there is not many cheaters (with modified player skins), so it will not be hard to download the modified skin from players computer, through the game to your computer and view it, if the modified content will help the player in game, ban him but if isn't, ban him too, but when he writes here, his skin is repared, unban him, because the modified skin doesn't helps him in game. Only my idea.

Do you still have the modified file? If you do, attach it here. It must be the exact same file you were playing with before you got banned, otherwise don't bother.

There's no way to conclude this, especially if he is new he could have edited the old model skin not realizing it doesn't matter.

dankes and kuczik: Are you related somehow? I believe dankes was the one with the modified file, but you both share the same IP address. Also, please keep posts here in English.

No, we aren't related. But we are certainly from the same country, maybe even from the same town and maybe we are even on the same network. But I can't say this for sure - I don't know him. But I know, that some people wich have net connection from the same company as me, have the same IP, cause we have closed IPs. And sorry for that few words in Czech, but I was really annoyed.

I see. You need to get some IP's from Germany or something. :P Ipconnect.de assigns like 5000 ip's per person, and you guys have one IP shared among many people. Considering the number of Czech cheaters there have been recently, this is probably going to be troublesome for a lot of non-cheaters sharing IP addresses.
I think I'll lift this ban for now, given the circumstances and the fact that only one file was modified for a short period of time, but don't expect this to happen very often. If somebody is caught cheating on your network, everybody will be banned.

I'm not being a suckup, but I'd have to say good call on this one.
If only we had some way to upload the modified content to a central server so that people can see it...

Well, it has got some advantages too, but it is not important now. Thanks for removing the ban, but I understand that you have to ban our IP when somebody does not play fair. I'm just satisfied we solved this. Bye
