Is possible to say what exactly was changed? Modified client executable - what is that? I asked him and he didnt change anything. He downloaded latest build two weeks ago from otb server..

sky.rider. Yes, modifying a gun to make it look better may not help you play the game better. But unforunately thats not the discussion here. The point here is he broke the rules, and that must be punished with the given punishment.
If he made a hi-res autococker, the correct action from him would be to post it in this forum so that others could look at it and let the community make a decision on it.

Now I had asked him and he verified this, he changed autocooker color to yellow and try it with bots but it will not be this, because he try it only at home.
So, can you give here some samples of the things, which can end in this result, jitspoe?
And to the Europaint, he is prepared to send here his demos from europaint tournament to show you, he didn't cheat there and finally he dont know about cheating anywhere....
End the last problem is, he know english only a little bit :(

His paintball2.exe was different from everybody else's. That was the reason he was banned. Changing weapon and items to bright colors is also kind of cheating, since it lets you spot upgrades from a distance more easily.

I checked Hoffigs paintball2.exe file, he should have identical Changed datum and size, if he has modified this file, he hadnt this things same as me.

(června = June)
Size: 404 kB (413 696 bajtů)
Size on disk: 416 (425 984 bajtů)
Even the size on disk is different than mine, but I think it is not important....

What am I trying? Did you read all the text in this forum? Jist said, the color of Autocoker couldn't end in a modified executable cheat, it will be modified content, understand? And by the way, he dont play with the yellow Autocooker on the servers, which jits wrote, only on his local server, at home!

I think, that rules are uselessly strict. I know hoffig, and he never cheated... Please jitspoe, give him a chance. Now are a holidays and he is at home all the June. He hasn't what to do all the time. Let him play please..

If he played on a private server, against bots only, he wouldnt have been detected.
I play against bots with a modified client all the time.

And there is next think what I wanted to say... How could he knew that he was breaking the rules when he tryed discolour Autococer? If it is prohibited, is it write in the rules?... Maybe yes, but how had been sad, he doesn't speak english, so he hadn't idea what is he doing... I'm sorry for my english:P

HE CHEATED.
Just because its the holidays and he is sad, it doesn't mean that he deserves to be unbanned. He should be happy that Jitspoe is open minded enough to let them have a SECOND chance.
Also, I dint know how much English your friend knows, but if he knows English like you guys do, he would've understand the MODIFIED CONTENT WILL GET YOU BANNED warning.

OK, so I only wanted to know, what was the modified executable? What thing he modified, because everyone of you said here, the yellow autocooker isnt the problem, and as you could seen, his paintball2.exe file is identical as mine, and I am NOT detected as cheater (and of course I am NOT cheating ;) )

Well, if it's not YOUR ban, why do YOU complain about it?? Hoffig didn't even say a word about the whole thing yet. I guess he accepts the rules: you cheat, you get banned.
There is absolutely nothing to discuss about, because he got caught playing online with either modified textures and / or a modified client. Period.

I can't tell you specifically what changed, just that the paintball2.exe is different than what everybody else is using. In order to check if the files are different, you need to look at more than the file size. A program like md5sum will give you a unique number for each file, or you could run something like fc (file compare) or diff against both your file and his at the same time to see what exactly changed.

That's just the time and servers the modified client was detected on. Not sure what else you need clarified...

you listed a timespan and a bunch of servers. if you would say he played on DAY X on SERVER Y with the hacks, that would be a lot more useful...

he learned his lesson, if he really wants to play sooner rather than later, get in touch with jitspoe, and maybe he implemented some type of pay system to reduce ban times for situations like this.

thats not cheat, no hack. Anyway Hoffig is stupid, and he did it (no excuse for him). But color of gun is really nothing bad. My clan is still "clear". Hoffig will wait now till the ban will run out and than he can play again. Thats all...
