You were quite helpful in putting the chat link at the top and redirecting the java link to GG.

Is there any possibility that we could put a link to this wiki page on the IRC java page?

Part of the problem is that new clans are not only not on irc individually but don't have a channel. This would give them an explanation of what to do.

Then we can direct them to one page with the info and a short link

I really want to get some better wiki software set up before adding links to it.  I don't want somebody clicking on a link for an IRC guide and getting some spambot porn ad :P

I made up a forum post that is as simple as possible here:

If you like you could include that in a link beneath the irc client that says something like "Clans wanting to set up an IRC channel check here"

I would just post the forum link but that is too long for them to memorize.
