yeah, in the neu camp the lights are along the top.

i think you can see how lights are used at old trafford in a row at the top

or here at the madejski stadium (now in the premiership)

A whole stadion might be a bit too big :P .
So we should consider playing on something like that:

P.S.: Thanks for the new (old) smilies ;D

It's supposed to have one... lol

Question: Does the football/soccer match really need to be at night? If it's not at night, the map won't need any floodlights and as a consequence, the mappers must not take any further considerations on that topic.

A stadium made of stone?  Looks mighty uncomfortable. :)

thats what you get at teh "grass roots" level. basically for people to stand on, but the kids and women tend to sit on them (and it is very uncomfortable).

i don't know if the ball can go in the stadium in pinps map, but that wouldn't be very good. and there is still the problem of the floodlights. theres simply too many

and bitmate, i think it was done at night to avoid being on the top of a mountain, though i guess there could be a more suitable sky. i think that dark with decent floodlights would be nicer to play than a daytime one perhaps

heh jit, map looks nice! anyways, le floodlights are in the way and ball shouldn be able to go out onto the stadium...

maybe just Textures of a stadium outside, would that be possible? some huuge panorama outside the map instead of stars or the sky....

anyways, it shouldnt be "by Pimp" anymore, since jit did the whole map:D

btw... ball can get out of the map again!! (look at my demo!)

I've encountered another problem with _b4.
Demo is attached.

@ AgentSmith: It's still Pimp's map ;)

i think it hasn't to look absolutely great, an old stadium of stone is nothing unusual. this map is only a idee to be advanced...

I don't care a pap for it. Thats fine by me if you call it 'by Jit', and i think Jit isn't really interested in setting his name to the creator of this map. Jit only wants to help me and to create a great map...

Maybe we should just kill the byline and leave it a mystery for generations to come. ;)

:( then it'd be like the italians or the turkish

isn't there a way to let players leave the pitch boundaries, but not the ball?
