I like the idea, It would be a nice use of space in the top left of the screen, and it would be nice to make it flash between white and red or whatever for the last 5-10 seconds.

it's a good idea especially when you're the last one...

Feature Request: Timer for siege mode rounds

I mean some large digital clock ticking placed so that it doesn't obstruct too much.

I think it would be very good idea. It would motivate players on offending team to attack and think, because while having defense scoring because some mindless noob was thinking for too long, it gets boring after a while.

Also, if there is some idle player and nobody to admin-kill/ obs him, others would have a reference, how long was left.

not a bad idea, but you can just look at the game clock when the round starts, and subtract 3 minutes (i think?) to know when time will run out.

....3 minutes (i think?) ...
that "i think" is important sometimes you need to be sure and not to think like "hmm did the round started in 15:42 or 15:24" ;)
+1 good feature

I believe a round ends after 89-90 seconds, but I'm not sure.

However, there's already a feature vote for it:

Nah, couldn't be 90 seconds -- that's not nearly long enough.

Afaik it is about 90 seconds, still I wouldn't vote for this just because it makes things easier. People don't even look at time left to end of map, let alone such thing.

Depends on where it's going to be placed. Large enough timer at the upper middle part of the screen would not obstruct aiming and would be visible enough.

I have an example. See, the timer doesn't get in the way of aiming and you can't miss it. Change font to the one in-game and it's all set. It could bleep/flash/turn red, when time left is low.
