More information please... What exactly do you mean, what features, why would this be useful?

If its just to play music, why not just open up Winamp in the background?

I'm trying to rid the game of things that are questionable in legality, so I don't want to touch mp3's.  I could technically do something through media player codecs or something, but that would be limited to (specific versions of) windows.

Beside, there are more important things to be implemented than just the mp3 player. Run Winamp or whatever you use in your background.

Bono, you still haven't given any reasons as to why this is useful.

When I play games I usually just connect my ipod to the computer, this way I have more control over the music without having to minimize the program or whatever. Also, it doesnt slow the computer down.

I'll go ahead and put it up on the feature list, but I don't see why it's necessary.  Maybe some hotkeys for winamp control, but not a whole built-in player.

Isn't it already implemented, but as OGG instead of MP3?

MP3 has licensing fees for using in apps, if I remember correctly, OGG doesn't

You can use CD music, or ogg vorbis files. The OGG implementation suffered from me doing a really crap porting job on it, but the kinks are slowly being ironed out.

You can use CD music,

How do I use CD music? Do I enable it and insert the Quake II CD?
