Im getting sick of getting killed in servers by view gib. Time to get rid of the command because some admins like to abuse it.

I agree completely, there is no positive from this command, besides debugging the game I guess and testing death. Maybe it should be only enabled as a command when in debug mode.

the only thing I can think of is when a player is idle... however an admin could just as easy kick them from the server to solve the problem

Other than that, if you don't like the admin, go to a diff server, theres many...

The problem with that is that most servers are dead meaning hardly anyone and/or no one plays on that server rendering it virtually pointless.

And as far as kicking the kicking someone because they are idle that will get abused by certain server admins and you all know who I really mean.

I watched a demo of some admin, I think it was someone from OTB, but they watched a speedhacker, and every time he stopped running and started shooting, he got view gibbed ... that's why I like it

There are some legitimate uses. If someone is blocking a path, for example, and kicking is a little extreme, viewgib works great.

Basically the only need for it is when there truly is an idler or if you are playing with bots and you die and their is a bot war.

Especially if you ping 100 more than him. You must be a hacker.

The thruth is, vg is unneccesary. It's alot easier to kick/temp ban. If you are not egotriper who think he owned you by VGing.
