This is something the committee is discussing now and I'm curious what the overall community thinks. If a player comes along looking for cheats, and some other player assists him in finding cheats, how long should the assisting player be banned?

Guns can be used for good (defense and sporting) or bad. Cheats, on the other hand, can only be used with bad intentions.

Guns don't kill people, ~~women on PMS~~ other people do.

32 days even seems to be too short for cheaters because they don't stop until its like half a year of ban time.

I find it funny that you guys think the whole #dp-hacks channel and "rumors" about "Ij" making hacks is pretty funny. We just know you guys take this game way to seriously and we get a kick out of it. Hope you know this is exactly what we wanted, a silly thread like this.

And dp-cheats isn't for developing cheats or helping newbies start cheatings. Jebus lou-eebus.

Wallhacks have a legitimate use for when you review demos to see if someone was wallhacking.

i would say 32 days if you have legitimate evidence of the player distributing cheats.

That's not what's being discussed here.

It's whether or not someone should be banned if they are offering up cheats and they get caught.
