I set up a dedicated server. I don't want other people to join, apart from people with a password. Where do they enter the password?

Well first you set a password.

cvar_set password passwordhere

Then when they try to connect it will say "Bad Password".  Tell them to type in the console "password passwordhere" without the quotes.
