Nice, clean map.  I don't see why it couldn't be a pub map.

My feedback:
- Barrels are too wide (should have a 48 unit diameter, not 64).  Sideways barrels are very slightly off in alignment (I'd just make 48 unit barrels aligned on the grid from scratch and replace them).
- Ladder double jump seems pointless and annoying.
- Area behind ladder needs clip brushes.

I just meant that the ladder double jump is nothing for the public server and for new player, not that this map couldn't be a pub map.

Nice to see that you're interested in finishing this map, but I wish, you would have done a third beta first. There left a few stuff (especially for a better gameplay) you still didn't work at :'(

Please add "angle" "#" to all player spawns, that people don't look in front of a wall after spawning. Use this key always for player spawns.


You forgot a few clip brushes here ;)
Looks like you added clip brushes here, but some of them doesn't work well atm.


I'd raise up this brush the last unit, because it would look a lot cleaner.


1. You can jump under the ladder. A clip brush below it would solve this problem.

Oh, and what's with the name? Shouldn't it be planet.bsp instead of planet_final.bsp. However, I hope you'll fix the mentioned stuff yet.

image number 1- fixed
image number 2- has no influence on the game...
image number 3 -no reason .. double jump is easy..newbie can go a different route

Why the name change?...I do not know :D

Hm...I don't mean the jump itself, more the missing clip brushes around the ladder...and don't forget to add "angle" "#" to the player spawns.

-> newbiefriendly (planet.bsp)
-> for matching (planet_match.bsp)
