competitive maps

Can someone just make a simple 1 flag map (if you do 2 flag steal Pforest flag layout due to it being the simplest idea for 2 flags thats known to work ie prolandr took it too)

Just make something simple, aesthetically appealing, properly made, a few jumps (doesn't have to be super complicated), don't overdo terrain, make it feel smooth to run around, and have a defined base/mid.

It's simple. Stop trying to make these confusing 100 path maps. Don't try to make the "next big thing" , don't try to make the coolest map ever. Keep it simple. There's some OK mappers in the community, but they keep trying to do these confusing maps and try too hard to make something. Draw an idea on paper, keep it simple, map it, get a known team to like it, they'll spam that map, it'll get known. Simple.

But stop trying to make it complicated. That is all. If someone makes a good map - that meets the above criteria, and I approve of it, shockwave will pay them 10$

Dearest Myers,

Why don't you make a map?

Sincerely,

Your fav.
