[Feature] In-game Streaming

You can set up your own streaming channel using your own DPLogin account and people can watch you play by clicking some tab up there ^

Not much of a goal, just to make this game more fun.

That would be ton of work (i assume) and not precisely worth it, because there are tons of apps out there which do pretty much the same thing.

Now, what could be nice idea, is getting some sort of preview tab on main page, which would display players who are streaming (on twitch for example). People could reply to some forum post with their twitch name and some simple script would check if they are online (rcokitude already did this for me in an IRC bot).

Setting up stream correctly isn't easy at all and often it's few personal settings here and there that need to be adjusted in order for the stream to work nicely. If you want one-click stream then add paintball on steam and switch your steam to beta. In settings you can allow 'broadcasting' then and stream starts immediately when you start game through steam. But it won't beat OBS settings if you know what you are doing.

TL;DR Too much work, add "Live DP2 streams" in the main page instead

Would help new players by viewing better players (especially those who commentate)

Hey, maybe you can implement Twitch streaming. ;)

Good luck!

If you have this game added into steam account, you can easily start stream with minimum of CPU usage or even upload. I don't know how steam made this stuff.

Yeah, and if we had in game streaming we could have some in game adds on our streams....

For example, my stream would promote Noscope gaming glasses, https://www.noscopeglasses.com/gaming-glasses?tracking=flawlessesports
