Hey Paintball Community
The International is a 3v3 Paintball Tournament on the 5th (Saturday) September 2015 at 10 am (Forum Time)
It may can require two days (so the Sunday on the same time as Saturday)
The Tournament just take place if more than 6 Teams sing in.

Important Informations:

The sing in ends at the 1st September 2015
All Matches are Best of Three (so u have to win 2/3 Games to move on)
Each Team can choose their own map (if its in the map pool)
The Tie Map is chosen by the Admin (me or anybody else from .TI|DP2.)
The final is best of 5 (so to get champion u have to win 3/5 Games)
you can sign in by just sending a short Email at <TheInternational@mail.com> where you name your Team name and the 3 participating players and where you Team come from, so we can choose the optimal server in order to reduce high ping. In the very unlikely case of troubles we will send you back an email so please keep watching if you get an email.

The Map pool will be added as soon as possible
The server we will play on are just normal rentable match server.

I hope we will meet at 5th September

You forgot to answer a very important question. What servers are being used, NA? EU? If NA players join and play against EU players how will the server issue work? Pings give a huge advantage...

Toxiic your are right
I forgot to mention that we try to find a suitable server for both teams
I know that a low ping is a huge advantage and i try to solve this porblem by finding the right server so if a team from EU meets a team from NA i think the best server is located in the middle so both teams have (almost) the same Ping
If NA meets NA than in this case we take an NA server as well (i dont care about my ping)
But to make it easier pls write in your email where your Team come From (NA, EU...)

We could handle it like in normal matches. One map on EU server and one map on NA server and the team with the better point difference gets the server for the tie map.

Hey GameZET, haven't seen you here before.

Thanks for doing this, should be fun! I'll try to make it.

Just some tips:

- Use a website like http://challonge.com/ for the brackets. Makes things very efficient.
- You didn't mention from where this tournament will be organized. For example, teamspeak, irc or forums? I recommend using IRC: http://dplogin.com/forums/index.php?topic=15445.0
- Include some maps that are currently played, but also include some older/newer ones too.
- Write a solid dedicated rules list so it's absolutely clear what is allowed and what is not. For instance, are reconnects allowed? Etc.

I know you have much experience in things like tournaments but i just wanted to organise some too
Hope to see you at the 5th (and maybe 6th) September
I will present the rules, brackets and maps on the website (when i am back from holidays i start to create one)
A Youtube channel also coming up where all the matches of the tournament can be seen
First i try to organise it here in the formun but later when all the participating teams singed in i will try to manage it from the website

Sorry, forgot to mention country, we are Europeans: 2 Germany, 1 Czech republic.
