NPBLeague Rules

The following rules are set:


Course of the league:

- One regular season which consists of facing each player on the leader-board twice. So the length of a regular season varies depending on the number of registered players.
- When the regular season is over, the playoff starts. Top-ranked players will face each other in a single elimination bracket until one champion remains.
- Each player has to play one match including one maps per Week ( It is possible to delay a match with a valid reason but you have to ensure to play the next match in time).
- When the weekly matches are announced, the "Home" player (left one) choose the server. (you can rent servers at ic3y.de)
- Victory = 1 pts, Defeat = 0 pts.
- Possible player replacement through a season if a player is inactive too many times
- At the end of the regular season, if multiple players end up having the same amount of points, a tiebreaker will be played to decide the final placements for the playoffs.
- Tiebreakers & Playoff matches are Best of 3.  Server for tie map is decided by the player with the higher score difference in the previous maps.

Server settings & Requirements:

- standard matching server settings (observe blackout 1, flagcapendsround 0, flagmustbeatbase 0, sv_login 2, guntemp 0, ball_speed 2660, timelimit 20, two grenades and one smoke grenade)
- Demos from everyone uploaded on banterous.de
- Present on the DP2 discord sub-channel(#NPBLeague) that will be created in order to be easily contacted.  (DP2 discord: https://discord.gg/USvSCg)
- You have a week to get in contact and play your announced match (if a player do not show any sign of activity within a week, enemy player get a free round)

Anti-competitive tactics punishment:

- If a player disconnect or idle, the enemy can choose if they wait or play.
- Re connections are allowed between rounds and dead times, if a player disconnects in the middle of an important decisive round (ex: setup for a cap, grab, RS cap setup) The map is automatically forfeited by the player having the disconnection unless the opponents decide that it was unintentional.
- Needless to say that any use of cheat is gonna lead to instant disqualification for the player and point reset.
