erm, I think that communicating with your clan is extremely important. How you go about it is up to you.

Although i don't really understand your question :P

Matching times and enough that they know you didn't leave them leaderless. IRC is probably the best way unless you know everyone in real life.

We use irc, ts, msn and occassionally leave messages in the private section of our website. I think irc is important, as is voice recon. (I've also been known to email my members telling of my love for them)

I'm suprised nobody's mentioned Skype... It's a great program that lets you call other computers, and you can also start chats with it as well.

Only problem: It's hard to use Skype when you're playing fullscreen.

You can have conferences where you can have a LOT of people in one chat. It's a really well done program...

But, for the past few days, it had some global errors... but it's back up today.

It's a bit of a memory/bandwidth hog though, users on slow internet and slow PCs should stick with TS/Vent.

We use

Vent
xfire
irc
aim
msn

I personally use trillian for the aim, msn, yahoo part of the picture.

The vent is the place to hang out or do scrims.
The rest are to find scrims or relay server info.

We use our forums for archiving stuff if necessary.

Unfortunately my clan and I do all of our communication through snail mail and telegrams.
